CAPITAL Investigations' owner, Gary Cohen, is a member of the prestigious National Association of Legal Investigators, (NALI), as well as a member of NALI's Legislative Committee.  Mr. Cohen is also a member of NCISS, the National Council of Investigative and Security Services, and a Vice President/Charter Member of APIA, Alabama Professional Investigators Association.  Gary Cohen adheres to the ethics codes of these associations, which protect the client, the case, and the integrity of the investigation.

Gary Cohen has a degree in Criminal Justice, with honors, and continues to expand his knowledge in the field of Investigations. He also earned a certificate in Private Investigations after 2 years of study. The two year program included classes in:

  Additionally, Mr. Cohen was elected Constable of Mobile County in the elections of 2000.  He's attended classes presented by the FBI, the Mobile Police Department, and continues to attend seminars and classes to constantly upgrade his knowledge and services.
  Mr. Cohen was a regular columnist for the newsletter of the South Florida Investigators Association and was Chairman of the Internet Committee, responsible for establishing the SFIA's presence on the internet.
  Gary was hired by the History Channel to find survivors of a Korean War prisoner of war camp, and is featured on the History Channel's program, Operation Reunion.
  Gary Cohen specializes not only in locating people and serving process, but has worked in criminal defense, and worked alongside Mobile, Alabama's foremost defense attorneys. Mr. Cohen worked on the defense team of some of Mobile, Alabama's most publicized criminal trials, defending charges as diverse as Arson, Capital Murder, Assault, Kidnapping, Robbery, and Theft of Property.
  Mr. Cohen's present position of City of Mobile Magistrate now precludes him from working criminal cases, but has no effect on his civil case load.
  Mr. Cohen's background of a 20 year career as a Florida Certified HVAC Contractor also arms him with the knowledge and experience to investigate Products Liabilty cases and any case involving mechanical, electrical, and appliances, both commercial and residential, whether for the Plaintiff or Defendant.
